Boris Ross was born in 1981 and grew up in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He started his musical background when playing the drums for 6 years. At the age of 15 he sold his drum kit and bought 2 turntables and a mixer.
That was the start of his career, he started to play at local small clubs in Rotterdam like Cosmic and Bootleg dj café (Bootleg is still one of the leading dj café’s in Rotterdam) he still plays there often. He developed his talent to his extent when it became apparent to the people around him that he was serious about becoming a professional DJ. After he got a job in the record store/distribution Triple Vision everything was going fast.
Playing in New York USA for Visual dancing and soon after that he was Invited to play in the Bumb (a brand new rising club in Rotterdam.) After he played a brilliant set the promoter of the Bumb immediately asked him for a weekly residency at the BumB.
Playing alongside artist such as Kiko , Jeff Mills , Alex Smoke , Agaric , Don Diablo , Bart Skills and many others, he proves himself to be a very promising upcoming talent.

Inspired by Luciano, Smoke, Holden, Tejada ,Beyer, Locodice, Green Velvet , Matthew Dear and the Neptunes, he developed his own musical style of funky rolling electronic house music. He plays a variety of techno, minimal, house and back to that groove that can be found on labels like Playhouse, Cocoon , Kompakt ,Sound Architecture , Casjmere and Ovum. Boris has his own Record label called Luxaflex Records what stands for a platform of serious minimal grooves and technology for the mind.
At the moment Boris Ross lifted up his career to the next level and is currently working in the studio for his first release on Luxa Flex nr 010 with a remix by Mark Henning and Enrico Tanabe.. Watch out for this rising star…
