Fokuz Recordings has been active within the atmospheric drum & bass since the early days. Early 1999 the label kicked off its first release with Drum Origins. Since then the label slowly progressed from releasing real atmospheric music, to a more dancefloor minded style. Despite this change Fokuz has never lost that search for the real music. Currently the label released 2 albums and 25 releases from artists like Syncopix, Drum Origins, Greg Packer, Laroque, Alex Perez, FX 909, Electro Soulsystem, Soulproof and many others. In 2003 the label split up in 2 parts. Fokuz & Fokuz Limited. On this off spin a much broader sound was represented. Featuring artist like Noisa, Desimal, Task Horizons, Mav and Soulproof this label slowly turned into a deep atmospheric tech orientated label.
